Who we are

Iceland Data (icelanddata.is) is an independent, free website that publishes Iceland tourism statistics compiled from public sources such as Statistics Iceland and the Central Bank of Iceland. This page explains what information is collected when you visit the site and how it is used.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal details directly. The site has no forms or comment features. The only information collected is the technical and usage data described below, gathered automatically by third-party services.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular and how people arrive here. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device type, browser, and pages viewed. IP addresses are processed by Google in anonymised form.
